What lifters say

Turns out a rank is
the best motivation.

“I have logged workouts in four different apps. This is the first one that made me want to open it on a rest day just to check how close I am to the next tier.”
JMJames M.Diamond III
“Seeing my radar chart showed me I had been skipping legs for months. Two blocks later my overall rank jumped a whole tier.”
PRPriya R.Gold IV
“Our group chat used to argue about who lifts more. Now we just check the leaderboard. Logging is fast enough that I actually do it between sets.”

Questions

How is my rank calculated?

For each muscle group, Level Up takes your best estimated one-rep max on key lifts (bench, rows, squats, overhead press, curls and more) and compares it with strength standards for your sex and bodyweight. That gives each group a score from 1 to 99. Your overall strength score is the average, and it maps onto 35 tiers from Bronze I to Plutonium V.

Do I need to be strong to use it?

No. Everyone starts somewhere on the ladder, and the early tiers come quickly. During onboarding you can enter a few starting lifts so your rank reflects where you are today.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Workouts are saved on your phone first and sync to your account when you are back online.

Kilograms or pounds?

Both. Switch your weight unit any time from your account settings.

What do I get with Pro?

Advanced analytics, personal record insights, unlimited workout history and progress charts for every lift. Logging, ranks, templates and social stay free.
